Working alongside the Client, Longmeadow advised on all property matters in connection with acquisition of Queensgate from Receivers.
The original developer and contractor had gone into administration before the project was finished. Longmeadow pieced together the contractual jigsaw, providing advice as to how the Client might proceed. They structured the project ensuring that the development was completed ready for occupation.
Queensgate provides 30,000ft2 of modern, fully air-conditioned and ventilated Grade A office accommodation on 6 floors. Longmeadow was responsible for the substantial fitting out required to produce a modern, “state of the art” call centre.
The building was acquired in Sept 2010. Work to complete and fit-out took just four months finishing in Jan 2011.
2nd phase and overall completion of the development involved the purchase of land from WBC for car parking, closure of surrounding roads, security fencing, landscaping and re-surfacing.
Works commenced on site in August 2011 and were completed by Dec 2011.
